    Letter from de László's sister Szeréna thanking him for sending her £30. The letter largely concerns family matters including de László's sons, his plans to take a cure at Karlsbad, family gravestones and Szeréna and de László's nieces and nephew. She mentions going to the Nemzeti Szalon, where the artist's picture [presumably 7173] was "hung in a very good hall, people crowded around it and related legends about you", as well as seeing a copy of his "beautiful large volume" (presumably Oakley Williams' edited publication on de László) at Rózsavölgyi’s bookshop

    Letter from de László's sister Paula (known as Pauline) to the artist concerning painting boards, framing and family matters. Pauline has made arrangements with Franz Dury, a framer and art supplier in Munich, to have painting boards sent to de László. Drury has also framed de László's portrait of her [2817] and the childrens' portrait. She has contacted Konrad Barth's regarding the original frame of the Pope's portrait [4509] and, following some research, has found a similar profile. The remainder of the letter deals with her charity work, health, family gravestones and her disapproval of her sons' lifestyles. She remarks that "the Hitler Case makes people here feel rather worried" (Hitler's twenty-four day trial for high treason following the so-called "Beer Hall Putsch" was ongoing at the time)

    Letter from de László's sister Paula (known as Pauline) to the artist in which she writes of her time spent with Princess Eulenberg (possibly Augusta Alexandrine Gräfin zu Eulenburg) at Starnberg Castle. She mentions her poor health, her love of music: "I shall never forget the effect on both of us simultaneously of the melody of Schubert’s music", and how she wishes she had become an opera singer. She thanks the artist for sending some gifts. Her "wonderful portrait" [2817] is at Dury's for framing, and that of "the boys is a feast for the eyes!"

    Countess Louise Roederer thanks de László for sending her an illustrated magazine. She believes "Mme de la Chapelle" is in Paris and will reply to the artist regarding her portrait. The Countess is surprised Dézarrois has not yet sent de László the photographs he himself arranged. The Countess' daughter's portrait [9564] has been much admired

She has sold five photographs of the Queen of Romania and five of the Pope, and she requests the photographs be sent to her. Two of the photographs are for the ex Duchess of Marlborough, née Vanderbilt (DLA015-0032 and DLA015-0033 were previously partial items that have now been merged into DLA015-0032.
