He adds that the head of the Princess of Meiningen [5101] is "very delicate and modest but the general public does not understand this"

She passes on a greeting from Cardinal Rampolla and praises de László's picture of the Cardinal [4511]

The writer believes de Lászlo has "painted more famous people than any living artist", including King Edward VII [7705], Queen Alexandra [7707], the Kaiser [4952], the King of Portugal [5156][5160] and Benito Mussolini [6383].
