    Commission to paint the portrait of Elemér Preszly, Főispán (County Prefect) of Pest-Pilis-Solt-Kiskun County, now Secretary of State and Deputy Minister of the Interior; de László has accepted to do it for 6000 pengő, he will use Legrády’s house, requires approval from the County Assembly & Interior Minister. Plans to work in Buda in secrecy. Expects to receive honours from Hungary. General family news.

    Siklóssy expresses regret that a meeting between de László and Ferenc Herczeg could not take place due to scheduling conflicts and Herczeg’s writing commitments, but he hopes to reschedule it for October. Mentions publishing some of de László’s works, thanks him for the recent portrait [3666], and shares travel plans, along with intentions to discuss the Hungarian edition of the artist’s book, 'Painting a Portrait.'
