    Kézdi-Kovács refers to a project to recover Mihály Munkácsy's paintings, which, since the death of Jenõ Rákosi, has been unsuccessful. De László and Dr. Abosi/Abosy, an art historian, were involved. Abosi travelled to the US to try and retrieve the paintings with the help of a guarantee issued by de László.
