Mentions de László, p. 860: de László's portrait of Sir George White [7724]; p. 862: both de László [4030] & Zorn painted Maud Cassel, considers Zorn's the better portrait; pp. 866-7: de László in more detail, praises his facility for likenesses, he was "able to handle not only the brush with facility, but also his sitters." De László came to Fuchs pre-war with an introduction from Count Mensdorff, then an attaché of the Austrian Embassy in London.

Portraits of Haddon had been painted by de László, one to hang in Christ's College [2458], a second to be given to the Museum [2456] and the third to be presented by the artist to his family [110647].
