Edward Patry's sister-in-law has been ill. Patry has almost finished the copy (possibly [10407]); he has tried to achieve more silveriness of flesh and spontaneity of brushwork. He was impressed with de László's handling of the last meeting at the RBA–his opponents, including Miss Asher, are now on side. He hopes Lucy is better
