This exhibition examines General Artúr Görgey's changing reputation from traitor to hero. Chiefly remembered for the surrender of his troops to Tsar Nicholas I to end the Hungarian War of Independence in 1848–1849 his actions have been re-examined and his reputation restored. De László made six portraits of the General towards the end of his life and one of these is included in the exhibition.
