    Letter from de László to Sigmund Münz containing both family and work-related news. Henry recently got married (to Violet Staub). Paul came of age and a ball was given in his honour. He encloses a newspaper cutting on his portrait of Lord Reading [6747], a photograph of Lily MacDonald de Nelson's picture [110536], a portrait of the Queen of Greece [3270] and a Venetian landscape [11636]. He painted Laura Pacheco de del Solar Dorrego whilst in Paris [110545]. The letter finishes with his Lisbon travel plans

    Leaving for the Villa Malcontenta tomorrow, plans to sketch there. Enjoying scenery of Bad Gastein. Horthy portrait [110886] to be exhibited alongside other portraits of the artists at the Nemzeti Szalon in October. Tragic death of Queen Astrid of Belgium. Item includes press cutting from the Liverpool Evening Express (24 August 1935) mentioning the inclusion of de László's portrait of the Duchess of Kent at the Liverpool Autumn Exhibition.
