Sender: Münz, Sigmund (1859 - 1934)
Recipient: László, Philip Alexius de (1869 - 1937)
Sigmund Münz thanks de László for the depiction of their circle at the Lido and for the portrait of the artist's son, John. He hopes Henry's nuptials (which de László did not approve of) will not cause any long-term damage. He is interested that de László is painting Lord Reading [6747] and that he is going to Lisbon. Whilst there, he should meet Sebastiano Nicotra, Apostolic Nuncio to Portugal. He may also meet Count Adelmann, Mrs Pagenstecher’s cousin

A. S. Webster confirms the safe arrival of the “Horses of St. Marks’s” [11636] following its exhibition (Charpentier, 1931). De László's group of portraits [5637][4149][6805][10031] is the "most admired" in the gallery; Mrs Stevenson will soon be requesting her portrait's return. Saw a photograph of the artist and his portrait of Lloyd George [6076] in today's newspaper
