Letter from Doctor Alexander Hugh Freeland Barbour to de László concerning the exhibition of his portrait [2338] at the Royal Scottish Academy. Barbour also mentions de László's portrait of his (Barbour's) recently deceased cousin, Thomas Arthur Nelson [6433], "a priceless possession to his widow and Mother now ". "How many homes you have comforted in these sad days", writes Barbour
