Sydney Kendrick's sketch for the posthumous portrait of the late Mrs Hoffman has been approved by her sister, Miss Preston. She will send a photograph of it to her niece (Marian Johnson). Kendrick thanks de László, presumably for the introduction for the commission (de László had painted Marian's portrait [9942] in 1924)
