Letter from de László to an unknown recipient (addressed to "My dear Friend") in which the artist sends best wishes for the recipient's 80th birthday. He is currently painting Lord Reading [6747]. He will travel to Lisbon next month and then on to Madrid to visit King Alfonso XIII. He hopes to spend a few weeks in the south of Spain in order to do some studies for himself. He met the recipient's son and daughter-in-law in his Paris studio. Gerliczy said that the daughter-in-law would like de László to do a sketch, but poor timing rendered it impossible
